It was Bonifacio, Rizal, del Pilar, Luna, Silang, and others in the past. Now, it is us.
Inspired by real stories of young activists who were murdered during Arroyo’s term, “Silang Maraming Pangalan” will tell the story of present-day martyrs and will articulate parallelism between our past and the contemporary times. It will daringly expose stories of young people who stood up and gave their lives as we all struggle to answer the society’s long-time call for real change and progress.
In the midst of all adversaries, the play will let the audience dream and believe that we can still build an honorable nation. And yes, it has to be a nation of and for the masses.
